KMHI (1240 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a Classic Country format. Licensed to Mountain Home, Idaho, United States, the station serves the Boise area. The station is currently owned by Calvary Chapel of Twin Falls, Inc.[1]
History
The station went on the air in 1963. Its call letters at that time are unknown, although they may have been KFLI, as they were in 1976, and as KJCY on 12 October 1983. On 1 January 1989 the station changed its call sign to KLVJ, and on 7 January 1997 to the current KMHI.[2]
