Kalyanamam Kalyanam (Tamil: கல்யாணமாம் கல்யாணம்) (lit.:Marriage like Marriage) is a 2018 Tamil Language Family drama starring Sreethu, Teja, Srithika, T. S. B. K. Moulee and R. Sundarrajan. It started airing on 29 January 2018 on Vijay TV[1] on every Monday to Friday at 9:00 PM (IST). Later the show was rescheduled to air Monday through Saturday at 1:00 PM (IST). [2][3][4] This will be the first time Sreethu and Teja are paired together.The show is directed by Bramma.[5] This serial main plot is taken from Pyaar Ka Dard Hai with a different story.
Synopsis
The story follows small-town girl Kamali (Sreethu Nair) who respects the tradition of marriage, and city boy Surya (Teja) who opposes marriage due to the break up of his parents.
Plot
The story starts with introduction of Kamali and Suriya. They both have two different worlds. Kamali living in Kothagiri, wants to get married and live her life happily with her husband full of love just like her parents, while Suriya in Chennai thinks marriage is just one more burden in life which will only hurt people's life based on his experience in his parent's divorced life. Suriya's grandfather Siva wants him to marry and looks for alliance and wants him and his parents to meet Kamali. Suriya and his parents arrive at Kamali's home. Suriya asks Kamali about divorce in their first talk. This creates bad impression of Suriya among her family members.

Casting
The series is a Family story. Sreethu, formerly of the series 7C and Mella Thirandhathu Kadhavu plays the lead female role, and Teja who made his debut through Kannada film titled ONE TIME, who play the male lead role of Suriya. Tamil Film director and Actors T. S. B. K. Moulee and R. Sundarrajan are also part of the serial and will be seen playing an important role.
Airing History
The series premiered from 29 January 2018 on Monday to Friday at 21:00 (IST). After 18 June 2018, the airing time changed to Monday to Saturday at 13:00 (IST), due to a new show, Bigg Boss Tamil 2, taking its original timeslot.
