Katsumi Michihara (道原 かつみ, Michihara Katsumi, born February 13, 1958 in Mihara, Hiroshima) is a Japanese illustrator and character designer. She is most notable for creating the manga adaptions of Yoshiki Tanaka light novels, Legend of the Galactic Heroes, as well as illustrating the Tokuma Shoten release of Tytania, and for the yaoi series Ai no Kusabi. She won the 21st Seiun Award for best art in 1990.[1]
