Kavithalayaa Krishnan

T. Krishnan, popularly known as Kavithalaya Krishnan, is an Indian film and television actor known for playing supporting roles in Tamil film / television.[1] He is a regular artist in many K. Balachander's films / television serials produced by Kavithalayaa Productions and Kavithalayaa got along as his name.

Career

He has acted in over 80 films, 60 television serials and made over 1000 stage appearances. He was awarded Kalaimamani(2005) by Government of Tamil Nadu.[2] He started acting in stage plays along with Crazy Mohan who was his classmate when he did his engineering at College of Engineering, Guindy. He made his film debut in Poikkal Kudhirai, a remake of Crazy Mohan's play Marriage made in Saloon directed by K. Balachander.[3]
