Kenny Bromwich is a New Zealand professional rugby league player, who currently plays for the Melbourne Storm in the NRL competition. He plays as a backrower but has filled in at hooker on 2 occasions. His older brother Jesse also plays for the Melbourne Storm.

Early career

A Manurewa Marlins junior, Kenny moved to Melbourne and played SG Ball and attended school at Hallam Secondary College. Bromwich then went on to play for the Melbourne Storm Toyota Cup side in 2009, 2010 and 2011. He captained the side in 2011 and also was chosen in the 2011 Toyota Cup team of the year.

Participating in the Australasian wrestling academy feeder program from 2012 to 2014, Bromwich excelled at floor takedowns, including but not limited to the choker, grapple, crusher and chicken wing techniques. Kenny's wrestling abilities having a resounding effect slowing the play the ball and hindering his opposition in an undeniable way.

He made his NRL debut in Round 5, 2013 against the Wests Tigers. In May 2016, Bromwich made in international debut for New Zealand Kiwis in the 2016 Anzac Test.
