Kiersey Nicole Clemons (born December 17, 1993) is an American actress and singer. Clemons is best known for her roles as Diggy in the award-winning film Dope, as Bianca on the TV series Transparent and love interest in Trey Songz "Smartphones"[1]. She also played Lucy on the Steven Spielberg CBS series Extant. Clemons co-starred in the sequel Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising, the follow-up to the film Neighbors. She has also been cast in the role of Iris West, in the DC Extended Universe film The Flash .

Life and career

Earlier in her career, Clemons was seen on the Disney channel as Kira Starr on Austin & Ally, and on Disney Channel's original film, Cloud 9.

She has previously also guest starred on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. In 2014, Clemons appeared in Trey Songz's music video "Smart Phones" in which she played Songz's love interest who catches him in the act of cheating via phone call (due to Trey butt dialing her).

Since 2014 Clemons has played the role of Bianca on the television series Transparent.[2] She also had a starring role on the MTV original series Eye Candy as Sophia. The series only aired for one season.[3]

She appeared in a 2015 episode of New Girl as Winston's love interest, KC.[2]

As of September 2015, she appeared in Lady Gaga's music video Til it Happens to You. She also appeared in DJ Snake's Middle along with Josh Hutcherson.

In 2016, she was cast as Iris West in the 2018 film The Flash.[4]

Also in 2016, she played a grad student who fell in love with a vegan activist woman and tried unsuccessfully to adopt her interests but built a healthy relationship nonetheless in Netflix original series Easy.[5]

Her father is African-American and her mother is Caucasian.[6]
