Koompassia malaccensis is a tropical rainforest tree species up to 60 m tall[2] in the Fabaceae family. It is found in Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand. It is threatened by habitat loss.[1]

A common name for this wood is Kempas, it is used as a flooring material.[3]
