Lal (Template:Lang-fa, Template:Lang-hi, Template:Lang-ur, Template:Lang-ps) is an Indo-Iranian surname and given name, which means "darling", from the Sanskrit lala ("cajoling").[1] In addition, Lal means "garnet" or "ruby" in Persian, "ruby" in Pashto, and "red" in Hindustani.[1] The name Lal may refer to:
