The large elaenia (Elaenia spectabilis) is a species of bird in the family Tyrannidae. It is found in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, and Uruguay. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and heavily degraded former forest.
