Liberty High School is located in unincorporated Osceola County, Florida, near Kissimmee. It is in the School District of Osceola County, Florida.
History
Liberty High School is a Title I school established in 2007. Valencia's Dual Enrollment program is open to Liberty's students with an unweighted GPA of 3.0.
Special Programs
Advancement Via Individual Determination
Liberty High School participates in the Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) program. This program helps prepare students in the academic middle for post-secondary education.[1][2]
Cambridge Program
Liberty High School has the Cambridge International Examination Program. This vigorous program for advanced students allows them to graduate with a Cambridge AICE Diploma. Students also get the chance to earn college credit.[3]
Extracurricular activities
Liberty has a comprehensive list of clubs and other extra curricular activities in which students may be engaged, including athletics, Ambassadors, band, drama ( which has most of the awards rating superior in many of there shows including one MAINSTAGE "clean house"), digital design, Environmental Club, Interact Club, Army JROTC, Keyettes, National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society, Web Design, Skills USA, and student government.[4]
Athletics
Liberty provides coeducational athletic programs in sideline cheerleading, wrestling, track and field, basketball, soccer, tennis, golf, and swimming. Football and baseball are available for boys while competitive cheerleading, volleyball, softball and flag football are supported for girls.
