Liberty Township is one of eighteen townships in Callaway County, Missouri, USA. As of the 2010 census, its population was 840.[3]

Geography

Liberty Township covers an area of 38.45 square miles (99.6 km2) and contains no incorporated settlements, although it does include the unincorporated settlements of Hatton and Concord. It contains one cemetery, Concord. Historically (including in 1876), it was much larger, and included the city of Auxvasse now in the more recently-created Jackson Township (sometime between 1867 and 1897). This is significant for historical and genealogical research.

The streams of Fourmile Branch and Lick Branch run through this township.
