Other appearances
Pre-Ex on the Beach
As well as appearing on Ex on the Beach, many cast members had appeared on other well known shows. Series 1's Vicky Pattison and her ex Ricci Guarnaccio were already known for being cast members on Geordie Shore. Daniel Conn was also known to be an Australian model and rugby league player, as well as briefly appearing in the sixth series of Geordie Shore.[6]Geordie Shore's Gary Beadle and Charlotte Crosby also joined Series 2 of the show, with Gary being an original cast member and Charlotte joining as his ex.[7] Series 3 included former The Only Way Is Essex star Kirk Norcross, his ex Cami-Li who is an American model who also appeared in Celebrity Big Brother 15. Former Ibiza Weekender cast member Jordan Davies was also included in this series.[8] Series 4 of the show featured Scotty T, another Geordie Shore cast member,[9] as well as Judge Geordie star Lewis Good.[10] Whilst Series 5 mainly focused on the return of old cast for unfinished business, it also featured Charlotte Dawson, the daughter of the late Les Dawson.[11]
Post-Ex on the Beach
Star of the first series Chloe Goodman became the first cast member to appear in Celebrity Big Brother in 2015, taking part in the fifteenth series but became the first housemate to be evicted.[12] In January 2016, Series 3's Megan McKenna became the second Ex on the Beach star to enter the house, this time taking part in the seventeenth series of the show. She later became the fourth housemate to be evicted.[13] In March 2016, Marty McKenna joined the cast of Geordie Shore,[14] and Megan McKenna went to star in The Only Way Is Essex.[15] In July 2016, Bear became the third cast member to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house, participating in the eighteenth series, where he was later announced as the winner.[16]
