  • Jim Burson (class of 1963), legendary Muskingum head basketball coach for 39 years; Ohio Basketball Hall of Fame inductee; was a member of the M.A.C.E Club
  • Mandy Carnes (class of 2004), NCAA Division III softball leader in home runs in a career (59) as well as home runs in a season (24 in 2002)
  • Tom Carr (Class of 2004), assistant wrestling coach, George Mason University
  • Bill "Cannonball" Cooper (class of 1961), former running back for the San Francisco 49ers; inductee of the College Football Hall of Fame
  • Darrell Hazell (class of 1986), head football coach at Purdue University
  • Jim Heacock (class of 1970), defensive coordinator and defensive line coach at Ohio State University; was a member of the M.A.C.E Club
  • Erica Hoyt (class of 2006), pitcher for the Muskingum softball team; winningest pitcher (120) in NCAA Division III history; holds the second and third spots for most pitching victories in a single season (38 in 2004 and 37 in 2005)
  • Jen Segner-Filtz (class of 2000), pitcher for the Muskies; finished her career with several NCAA Division III records including wins in a single season (40 in 2000); currently second in career pitching wins (117)
  • Edgar "Ed" Sherman (class of 1936), legendary Muskingum head football coach for 22 years; College Football Hall of Fame inductee
  • Tim Timmons, Major League Baseball umpire
  • Brandon Todd, known as the 5'5 dunker, played for the 2001, 2002, and 2003 All-Ohio team with LeBron James; developed an athletic training program called "FlytRight"
