Los Espookys is an upcoming American comedy television series set to premiere on HBO.
Premise
Los Espookys takes place "in a strange and dreamy version of present day Mexico City and follows a group of friends turning their love for horror into a peculiar business."[1]

Production
Development
On November 21, 2017, it was announced that HBO had given the production a pilot order.[2]
On July 2, 2018, it was announced that HBO had given the production a series order for a first season. The production staff are set to include Fred Armisen, Lorne Michaels, Andrew Singer as executive producers and Ana Fabrega, Julio Torres, and Alice Mathias as co-executive producers. Production companies involved with the series are expected to include Broadway Video, Más Mejor, and Antigravico.[1]
