Madhira is a census town in Khammam district of the Indian state of Telangana. It is located in Madhira mandal of Khammam division.[1]

Geography

Madira is located at 16°55′00″N 80°22′00″E / 16.9167°N 80.3667°E / 16.9167; 80.3667.[2] It has an average elevation of 38 metres (127 ft). It is surrounded by Andhra pradesh state on 3 sides and khammam district on one side

Politics

Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka from Indian National Congress was elected as MLA from Madhira constituency in 2014 Assembly Elections.
