Maggie Siu Mei Kei (Chinese: 邵美琪; pinyin: Shào Měiqí) (born 27 February 1965) is a prominent Hong Kong actress. Her official English name is Maggie Shiu, and she is also credited as Maggie Shaw.

Career

Her career began in 1985 when she joined Hong Kong TVB. As her career developed, she took on variety of roles in TV series and movies, always delivering a remarkable performance. Hong Kong audiences still remember her first appearance in 張學友 Jacky Cheung's "輕撫你的臉" MV, and her performance as Princess Fragrant in "Take Care, Your Highness." Overseas, Maggie has gained a wider audience with such remarkable roles as 小昭 / Xiao Zhao / Siu Ciu in "倚天屠龍刀" (New Heavenly Sword and Dragon Sabre), 石伊明 / Shi Yi Ming / Shek Yi Ming in "我本善良" (Blood of Good and Evil), 展翹 / Zhan Qiao / Cin Kiu in "今生無悔" (The Breaking Point), 韋海怡 / Wei Hai Yi / Wai Hoi Yi in "第三類法庭" (Conscience), 万安生 / Anson Man in "妙手仁心" (Healing Hands), Officer Kat in "PTU", and Mrs. Big D in "黑社會" (Election).

Maggie won the 9th Golden Bauhinia Award Best Supporting Actress Award for her role in Johnnie To's PTU (2003). She was consecutively nominated for Hong Kong Film Awards best supporting actress in 2004 ( PTU ), 2005 ( Breaking News ), and 2006 ( Election ). In 2007 she was nominated for best supporting actress category in Taiwan's Golden Horse Award for her role as Madam Fong in 跟蹤 (Eye in the Sky) .

Maggie's latest movies in 2007 are 降頭 (Gong Tau, an Oriental Black Magie), 跟蹤 (Eye in the Sky), and 出埃及記 (Exodus). Her other movies to be relased in 2008 are 蝴蝶飛 (Linger)，Tactical Unit, and 奪帥 (Fatal Move). Currently she is working on TVB 80-episodes drama "珠光寶氣" (The Gems of Life a.k.a Jewel's Splendor).
