Marita Sandig (later Gasch, born 4 April 1958) is a German rower who won a gold medal in the eights at the 1980 Summer Olympics.[1] She also won four gold and two silver medals at the world championships of 1977–1983, three of them with Silvia Fröhlich.[2] She was married to Uwe Gasch, who is also a retired Olympics rower.[3]
