The McEwen Ministry was the 44th Australian Commonwealth ministry, and ran from 19 December 1967 to 10 January 1968.[1] It was a caretaker ministry headed by Country Party leader John McEwen until the senior partner in the Coalition, the Liberal Party of Australia, could choose a replacement for Harold Holt.
