Mechetlinsky District (Russian: Мечетли́нский райо́н; Bashkir: Мәсетле районы) is an administrative[1] and municipal[6] district (raion), one of the fifty-four in the Republic of Bashkortostan, Russia.. It is located in the northeast of the republic and borders with Sverdlovsk Oblastin the north, Belokataysky District in the east, Kiginsky District in the southeast, and with Duvansky District in the south and west. The area of the district is 1,556.67 square kilometers (601.03 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Bolsheustyikinskoye.[3] Population: 25,032 (2010 Russian census);[3] 25,604 (2002 Census);[8] 23,716 (1989 Soviet census).[9] The population of Bolsheustyikinskoye accounts for 31.3% of the district's total population.[3]

The district was established in 1930.[2]
