Middle Amana, Iowa is a census-designated place located in Iowa County, Iowa. in its National Historic Landmark summary description it is listed as the closest city to Amana Colonies. As of the 2010 Census the population was 581.[1]

In 1881, Middle Amana contained a woolen mill, starch factory, machine shop, wagon ship, blacksmith shop, book printing and bindery, brick yard, general store, school, and meeting house.[2]
