Mijanur Rahman is a Bangladeshi academician. He is the current Vice-Chancellor of Jagannath University.[1]

Early life and career

Rahman was born in Comilla in 1953. He received B. Com. and a Master's degree in Marketing from the University of Dhaka, followed by a Ph.D. degree in Business Administration from Alighar Muslim University in 1994.[1]

He was appointed as a Professor in the Marketing Department of Dhaka University in 1999. Since then, he has published a number of books ("Bazarjatkaran", "Snatak Bazarjatkaran", "Bazarjatkaran Nitimala" and "Bazarjatkaran (Shahaj Sangskaran)" which are well known to the teachers as well as students of Business Administration. Rahman was appointed Vice-Chancellor of Jagannath University on March 20, 2013.[1]
