Miss Sloane is a forthcoming American film directed by John Madden from a script by Jonathan Perera. It stars Jessica Chastain, Mark Strong, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Michael Stuhlbarg, Alison Pill, Jake Lacy, John Lithgow, and Sam Waterson.

Plot

Elizabeth Sloane (Jessica Chastain) struggles to push gun control measures in America.

Cast

Production

In September 2015, it was announced that Jessica Chastain had been cast in the film, with John Madden directing the film, from a screenplay by Jonathan Perera, with Ben Browning producing under his FilmNation Entertainment banner, and Patrick Chu executive producing, while EuropaCorp will handle worldwide distribution, produce, and fiance the film.[1] In January 2016, it was announced that Alison Pill had joined the cast of the film.[2] That same month, Jake Lacy and Gugu Mbatha-Raw joined the cast of the film.[3][4] In February 2016, Douglas Smith, Mark Strong Michael Stuhlbarg, Sam Waterston, John Lithgow and Enis Esmer joined the cast.[5][6][7] In March 2016, Meghann Fahy joined the cast of the film.[8]

Filming

Principal photography began on February 12, 2016, in Toronto, Canada.[9][10] In March 2016, Jessica Chastain was spotted on set filming.[11] Production wrapped in Toronto on March 30, 2016.[12] In April 2016, additional shooting took place in Washington, DC.[13][14] Principal photography concluded on April 6, 2016.[15]
