Miss Venezuela 1972, the 19th Miss Venezuela pageant, was held at Teatro Paris (now called Teatro La Campiña) in Caracas, Venezuela, on July 12, 1972. This year was the first time that Venevision broadcast the pageant. At the conclusion of the final night of competition, outgoing titleholder Jeannette Donzella, crowned María Antonieta Cámpoli of Nueva Esparta as the new Miss Venezuela. Gilberto Correa took over hosting duties for the pageant from that year onward, for he and Liana Cortijo were that year's program co-hosts.
