Mohammed Nasim (born 2 April 1948)[1] is a Bangladesh Awami League politician serving as the current Minister of Health and Family Welfare of the Government of Bangladesh.[1]

Birth and Education

Nasim was born on 2 April 1948 in Sirajganj District to Muhammad Mansur Ali and Amena Monsoor.[1] Ali served as the 3rd Prime Minister of Bangladesh in 1975.[1] He was graduated in Political Science from Jagannath University. [2]

Career

Nasim was elected to Parliament from Sirajganj-1 in 2014.[3] He was made the Minister of Health.[4]

Personal life

Nasim is married to Laila Arjumand.[1] Together they have three sons.[1]
