"Move Your Feet" is a song by Danish pop duo Junior Senior. The song, originally released in July 2002 in the duo's native Denmark, was released worldwide in 2003 and became Junior Senior's biggest hit, reaching No. 4 in Denmark, No. 3 in the United Kingdom, and No. 20 in Australia. A music video for the song, directed by British art collective Shynola, was created using low-resolution pixel art.

Chart performance

The song proved to be successful in the United Kingdom, where it peaked at number three on the UK Singles Chart for two non-consecutive weeks,[1] going on to become Britain's 16th-best-selling single of 2003.[2] It reached number four on the Danish Singles Chart and number ten in Ireland.[3][4] It was a moderate hit in Australia, peaking at number 20.[5] In 2013, the song re-entered the French Singles Chart at number 11.[6]

Music video

This song was accompanied by an animated music video by British art collective Shynola,[7] using low-resolution (90×72) pixel art produced using Deluxe Paint. The video features animated characters of the members of Junior Senior, dancing figures, and personified inanimate objects.[8]

The song has been used in the promotional advertising for the Australian version of So You Think You Can Dance (along with the UK equivalent 'DanceX') and in television advertising for Google Chrome and the Mexican footwear brand Coppel Canadá and in a 2003 VH1 promo. It was heard on films such as Looney Tunes: Back in Action, How to Eat Fried Worms, White Chicks, and Forgetting Sarah Marshall. The song has also been featured on the TV series One Tree Hill, in the popular dance games Dance Dance Revolution Extreme, Wii's Just Dance 2 and PlayStation 3's SingStar. It also featured in a 2013 commercial for Chromebook. A revised version of the song appears in the 2016 animated film Trolls ("Move Your Hair"). The song was also used in the trailer for Knack II. The song appears on the album D-D-Don't Don't Stop the Beat along with a live recording.
