Grand Ayatollah Allama Syed Muhammad Yar Shah Naqvi Najafi (born 1913 in Alipur Panjab, died 1990) the First Biggest prominent Shia scholar in Pakistan. He proceeded to Najaf Ashraf and returned from there in 1940. He was a brave and fearless religious scholar. He taught a lot of ulama through his knowledge, strong character and personality. And It is important to note that all of Pakistan’s Ulmas are directly or indirectly the students of Marhoom Ustaad ul Ulma Ayatullah Syed Mohammad Yar Shah Najfi.
