The Nardak area lies in Nissing, Nilokheri and Assandh development blocks of Karnal district in Haryana, a state in North India. However, its water is saline and not fit for irrigation and the soil is of a loamy nature. The land-owners in the Nardak region are Rors, Rajputs and Sikhs. The Sikhs mostly came from present-day Pakistan after the partition of India in 1947.
