Natalia Danielle Dyer (born January 13, 1995)[1][2][Note 1] is an American actress. She is best known for her starring role as Nancy Wheeler in the Netflix science fiction horror series Stranger Things (2016–present).
Early life and education
Dyer was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, graduating from the performing arts high school Nashville School of the Arts.[3]
Career
Dyer's first screen role was as Clarissa Granger in Hannah Montana: The Movie in 2009. In 2011, she appeared in The Greening of Whitney Brown. Dyer then starred in the indie film I Believe in Unicorns, which premiered in 2014 at SXSW.[4][5]
In 2016, Dyer was cast as Nancy Wheeler in the Netflix series Stranger Things.[6] In 2019, Dyer starred as Coco in the Netflix horror film Velvet Buzzsaw.[7][8]
Personal life
Dyer moved to New York City and enrolled at NYU in 2014, studying at the Gallatin School of Individualized Study.[9] Since 2017, she has been in a relationship with her Stranger Things co-star Charlie Heaton.[10]
