The National Hot Dog and Sausage Council is an American trade association that promotes the hot dog and sausage industry.[1][2][3]
It was founded in 1994 by the American Meat Institute. It is headquartered in Washington, D.C..
The council promotes July as National Hot Dog Month, July 23 as National Hot Dog Day,[4] and October as National Sausage Month.[5]
