Nawabganj is a city and a Nagar Penchant in Gonda district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.

Geography

Demographics

As of 2001 India census,[2] Nawabganj had a population of 16,085. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Nawabganj has an average literacy rate of 65%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 71%, and female literacy is 58%.
