Nick Mingione is the head coach of the Kentucky Wildcats baseball team.[1]

Playing career

Mingione played his college career at Embry-Riddle University.[1] [2]

Coaching career

Mingione started coaching at his high school, Mariner High School, followed by one season as an assistant coach at Florida Gulf Coast. He continued his career at his alma mater, Embry-Riddle as an assistant for three seasons.

He was then brought to Kentucky under then head coach John Cohen for two seasons before going to Western Carolina as assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for one season. He then followed Cohen to Mississippi State, where he served in various roles for eight seasons, including four trips to the College World Series.

On June 13, 2016, the University of Kentucky announced that Mingione had been hired as their head baseball coach. [1]
