Nicole Kriz (born 13 December 1983, in Bankstown, New South Wales) is an Australian professional tennis player. Her career-high WTA singles ranking is 332, which she reached on 4 August 2008. Her career-high doubles ranking is 104, set at 9 July 2007.
Early life
Kriz was born on 13 December 1983, in Bankstown, New South Wales, Australia, to Mike and Seija Kriz.[1] She was educated at the Presbyterian Ladies' College, Sydney, in Croydon, leaving at the end of Year 10, in 1999, to focus on her tennis career.[2]
Kriz won the US $25,000, Australian Challenger event in Berri, beating top 100 player Marina Erakovic in the final. She also defeated the #2 seed Monique Adamczak in the Semi Final. Both wins were by 3rd set tiebreakers.
