The second season of Nikita, an American television drama based on the French film Nikita (1990), the remake Point of No Return (1993), and a previous series La Femme Nikita (1997), was announced on May 17, 2011,[1] which premiered on September 23, 2011 at 8:00 pm (ET).[2] The season featured 23 episodes.[3]
