Nitin or Nithin (Devanagari:नितिन, नितीन or नीतिन) is a first name in India and Nepal that means one having the knowledge of morality or master of the knowledge of righteous path in Sanskrit.[1][better source needed] Nitin comes from the Sanskrit words 'niti' meaning 'morality' and 'gna' or 'gyan' meaning knowledge.
