Synonyms

Pseudolfersia Coquillett, 1899

Olfersia are genus of biting flies in the family of louse flies, Hippoboscidae. There are 7 known species.[1] All species are Parasites of birds.[2]

Distribution

Olfersia are found worldwide with the exception of Australia, but are most abundant in North and Central America.[2]
