One Little Indian Records is a London-based independent record label set up by Derek Birkett (former bass player of Flux Of Pink Indians) and Sue Birkett in 1985, along with Tim Kelly (formar guitar player of Flux Of Pink Indians). The first success came with The Sugarcubes in 1987. Success continued with Kitchens Of Distinction and The Shamen. It was the success of Björk who established One Little Indian as one of the top independent UK record labels. From the website:

Birkett also acquired the old Rough Trade Records master recordings and Clean-up Records.
