P. K. Jayalakshmi is an Indian politician and the former Minister for Welfare of Backward Communities in the state Government of Kerala. She represented the Mananthavady constituency in Kerala after winning in the 2011 State Election. She was the youngest minister in the Oommen Chandy Government (being elected to office at age 30) and the first Adivasi Minister of Kerala.

P. K. Jayalakshmi, the first tribal minister in Kerala government, is 34 years old and represents the Mananthavadi constituency of Wayanad District. She is an ace archer and a silver medalist in state level competitions. She is a graduate in Communicative English from Kannur University and holds a diploma in Computer Science. She belongs to the Kurichya Community, one of the tribal communities in Kerala.

On 10 May 2015, she got married to Mr. C. A. Anilkumar who is the grand nephew of her father. Marriage was held according to the traditions of Kurichiya tribe. She became only the third minister in Kerala to marry while holding office.
