The Dada Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing and Visual Arts (PLC SUPVA) is a public university in Rohtak, India. It was established in 2011 by the department of Technical Education. The university is a joint campus of four institutions: State Institute of Film and Television, State Institute of Design, State Institute of Fine Arts and State Institute of Urban Planning and Architecture.

History[edit]

The PLC SUPVA campus is spread over 36 acres of land, designed by architect Raj Rewal. It is centrally located in the state of Haryana, at a distance of about 75 kms from New Delhi. Central facilities like the auditorium, seminar halls, central library, etc. are available for academics and extra-curricular activities. A girls’ hostel with a capacity of 175 students is already available in the campus. Housing facility for both faculty and non-teaching staff is also available.[1]
