Periscope Studio is a Portland, Oregon-based comics and illustration studio, founded in 2002[1] as Mercury Studio. The studio became an LLC in 2013.[2] Members of the studio work both individually and as collaborators on a number of high-profile mainstream and independent comic books. These include Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Spider-Man, The Fantastic Four, World's Finest Comics, Swamp Thing, and Fables.

The Studio expanded its membership and adopted its new name in June 2007.[3][4] In November 2013 the Studio launched a Kickstarter campaign to produce high-quality art books for six of its members.[5]
