Peta Scholz (née Squire; born 17 January 1976) is an Australian netball player. A prominent wing defence player, Scholz was a member of the Australian national team from 1999–2004, earning 54 caps. She played with the Adelaide Thunderbirds during the entire 11-year run of the Commonwealth Bank Trophy, retiring after the 2007 season.[1] After two years away from top-level netball, Scholz played in an invitational World VII team against the Silver Ferns in 2009. Later that year, she signed with New Zealand team the Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic to play in the 2010 ANZ Championship season.[2][3]
