Politics of Uttar Pradesh is dominated by the regional party Samajwadi Party (SP) with the National Level parties like Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) , Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Indian National Congress. The current government in Uttar Pradesh is that of BJP Alliances. The Chief Minister of UP is Yogi Aadityanath.
