Priti Gautam Adani (born 1965) is an Indian businessperson, dentist, philanthropist, and chairwoman of Adani Foundation.[1][2] She is one of the leading women educators in the state of Gujarat.[3]
Early life and education
In 1965, Priti Adani was born in Mumbai to a Gujarati family. She completed her bachelor’s degree in dental surgery from Government Dental College, Ahmedabad.[4] She is married to Adani Group chairman Gautam Adani, India's richest person.
Career
During her early days, Priti Adani started her career as a dentist. In the year 1996, she was appointed as chairperson of Adani Foundation.
In 2001, after the Bhuj Earthquake, she started the Adani DAV School in Mundra. Later, the school was renamed Adani Public School. In June 2009, she and her husband established Adani Vidya Mandir in Bhadreshwar (near Mundra) and Ahmedabad.[5] Adani Vidya Mandir provides free higher secondary education to underprivileged children.[6] Under her leadership, Adani Group's CSR budget for 2018-19 rose to Rs 128 crore from Rs 95 crore, in a year's time.[7][8]

Personal life
Priti Adani is married to Gautam Adani, the current chairman of the Adani Group.[11] They have two sons - Karan Adani[12] and Jeet Adani.
