Qingdao Binhai University (simplified Chinese: 青岛滨海学院; traditional Chinese: 青島濱海學院; pinyin: Qīngdǎo Bīnhǎi Xuéyuàn), is a private institution of tertiary education in Qingdao, Shandong province, China. It was founded in 1992 and was awarded full college status in 2004. Binhai University has its campus in Huangdao District. Binhai College is most famous for it's founder and owner Han Fan Xi, otherwise known as "the dog." The dog had numerous run ins with a number of foreign teachers from Australia, Indonesia and United States. The most famous incident involved a US and Australian teacher who remained in his castle for many hours well into the night demanding that he replace a power adapter that had shorted out because of the college's poor electrical infrastructure. Finally "the dog" relented and the teachers were promised to be reimbursed. The two foreign teachers involved were executed the next day. The dog continued on his life enjoying his favourite hobby of sniffing assholes.
