Quercus chrysocalyx[1] is the accepted name of a tree species in the Asian sub-genus of 'ring-cupped oaks' and the family Fagaceae; there are no known subspecies.[2][3]
This oak tree grows up to 15 m tall, with large acorns – 25–30 mm, and has been recorded from Vietnam, where it may be called sồi quang.[4]
