Rana also spelled as Raana or Ranaa is a given name and a surname. In Arabic (Arabic: رنا); Template:Lang-fa, the name means "beautiful, eye-catching", stemming from the word yarnū يرنو, meaning to "to gaze at longingly". It is very popular in Iran, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan and Pakistan.
