Rayudugaru Nayudugaru is a 1996 Telugu, Action drama film, produced and directed by Dasari Narayana Rao on Dasari Film University banner.[2] Starring Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Dasari Narayana Rao, Vinod Kumar, Roja in the lead roles and music composed by M. M. Keeravani.[3]
Plot
The story revolves around two villages Rayudupallem & Nayudupallem and the friendship of its respective heads Rayudu (Akkineni Nageswara Rao) & Nayudu (Dasari Narayana Rao). Both the villages have situated on either side of Godavari and they are brimful with love, Joy, & affection. Everything goes well until Veera Swamy (Satyanarayana) a cruel person enters into the village, who wants to take avenge against Rayudu & Nayudu because he has been ostracized by them from both the villages for 14 years. At one time, Veera Swamy was a big landlord, his daughter loves their servant's son for which Rayudu's wife Parvathi (Jaya Sudha) gives support and makes their marriage. Keeping it in mind Veera Swamy kills Parvathi for which he has been punished. Now Veera Swamy cabal's a plan to make Rayudu's daughter Malli's (Roja) marriage with Nayudu's son Satyam Naidu (Srihari), who has been affected by AIDS. Though Malli is already in love with Ramudu (Vinod Kumar) who rides a boat in between two villages, they sacrifice their love for the welfare of the villages. Few days before marriage Nayudu's wife, Lakshmi (Sujatha) comes to know that her son is having AIDS. Now she decides to stop the marriage but she is afraid that if her husband knows the truth he will definitely kill their son, so, she requests Rayudu to stop the marriage and takes a promise to keep it as secret. And Rayudu has to do so, which misfires, Veera Swamy takes advantage of this and exaggerates the situation by creating disputes & turbulence between Rayudu & Nayudu. The violence spreads between the villages, Rayudu decides to stop it at any cost, so, he arranges for the marriage even though he has to lose his daughter's life. To stop the marriage Lakshmi decides to reveal the truth to her husband, Veera Swamy obstructs her way, Rayudu comes for her protection and kills Veera Swamy. Simultaneously, Nayudu also knows reality through his son's classmate (Ravali). After knowing the truth Nayudu kills his son before the marriage. Finally, the movie ends on a happy note with the marriage of Ramudu & Malli and reunite of both the villages.
