Rizki Juniansyah (born 17 June 2003)[2] is an Indonesian weightlifter. He won the silver medal in the men's 73 kg event at the 2022 World Weightlifting Championships held in Bogotá, Colombia.[3][4] He won the gold medal in the men's 73 kg event at the 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games held in Konya, Turkey.[5][6]
In 2021, he won the gold medal in the men's 73 kg event at the Junior World Weightlifting Championships held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.[7][8] He also won the gold medal in his event at the 2022 Junior World Weightlifting Championships held in Heraklion, Greece.[2][9] He also set a new junior world record in the Snatch with a lift of 156 kg.[2] In his Olympic debut, he then won the 2024 Olympic men's 73 kg event, breaking the Olympic record in the process.[10][11] It was Indonesia's first ever Olympic weightlifting gold medal.[12] He thus became the youngest Indonesian athlete to win an Olympic gold medal.[13]
