Robert Mayer (born October 9, 1989) is a Czech-born Swiss professional ice hockey goaltender who is currently playing with Genève-Servette HC of the National League A (NLA). He first played professional with the Kloten Flyers of the NLA before signing a three-year entry-level contract with the Montreal Canadiens in 2008.

In his five seasons within the Canadiens organization, Mayer played primarily with American Hockey League affiliate, the Hamilton Bulldogs. On May 22, 2014, Mayer was placed and cleared unconditional waivers in order to be mutually released from his contract with the Canadiens.[1]

On June 6, 2014, Mayer returned to the Swiss NLA, signing a three-year contract with Genève-Servette HC.[2]
