Rocketship Education (RSED) is a non-profit charter school network headquartered in Redwood City, California. Rocketship was founded by John Danner and Preston Smith in 2007.[1] Their schools' use a blended learning model with adaptive software to increase student achievement.[2][3] Currently there are sixteen charter schools located in San Jose, Redwood City, and Concord California, as well as schools in Nashville, Milwaukee, and Washington D.C..[1][4]
