The Rohingya National Council (abbrev. RNC) is a political congress of Rohingya groups, mainly from Rakhine State, Myanmar (Burma). It was founded on 28 November 1998 after the merger of the Arakan Rohingya National Organization (ARNO), the Arakan Rohingya Islamic Front (ARIF) and the Rohingya Solidarity Organization (RSO), and is headed by ARNO.[2] Its current president is Nurul Islam.[1]
